After extensive deliberation, the jury has decided to expand the distribution of the $50,000 USD prize pool from the originally planned 7 winners to 9 winners and 2 special mentions. This adjustment reflects the exceptional quality and diversity of the submissions, making it only fair to recognize more outstanding projects.

The jury’s decision was guided by rigorous discussions around several key evaluation criteria: the level of innovation, relevance to societal and technological developments, design excellence, technical feasibility, research quality, and the overall quality of the project presentation.

In addition to the cash prize, the winning projects will be showcased at the BraunBörse on May 10th 2024 at the Braun Headquarters in Kronberg, Germany, where they will be exhibited and presented again.
