Prof. Oliver Grabes
Head of Design at Braun and Chairman of the BraunPrize
Oliver joined P&G in 2009 to become the Head of Braun Design and has been Chairman of the BraunPrize since 2012. Under his leadership the design team established the design strategy of “Past Forward” with contemporary and innovative products that put Braun’s core values of simplicity, quality and good design back into the centre of the user experience.
Since then, a wide range of products following this philosophy have created strong global business success and have been awarded with a record number of international design awards, re-establishing Braun ́s unique brand equity. Oliver’s focus is on joyfully simplifying the way people interact with products and systems in today’s increasingly complex world. His passion is in building best-in class emotional product and brand experiences that leverage the power of “Good Design”.

Ana Relvão
Owner at RELVĀOKELLERMANN
Ana Relvão studied industrial design at Faculty of fine Arts, University of Lisbon. After staying at Miguel Vieira Baptista, Stefan Diez and Designaffairs, she was partner at Industrial Design Associates. In 2014, she founded the office Relvãokellermann together with Gerhardt Kellermann.
Ana Relvão won the INOV-ART scholarship of the Portuguese Ministry of Culture. In 2016 and 2020 she was nominated for the Design Award of the City of Munich. In 2018 Ana Relvão held a guest professorship at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart. She has also taught as a guest lecturer at the universities of Leiria, Bolzano and Lisbon. Often invited to judge international design competitions, Ana has served as a juror for the iF Design Award, Iconic Design Award, among others.

Wolfgang Stegmann
Braun Head Designer
Wolfgang Stegmann born 1978 in Illertissen, lives in Mörfelden-Walldorf. From 2000 to 2003, Wolfgang Stegmann studied industrial design at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. During his studies, he freelanced at the UP Designstudio in the same city. From 2003 to 2005, he continued his studies at the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture in Helsinki, which cooperated closely with the Nokia company. As part of a collaborative project between the university and Braun, Stegmann’s submission received an award, which prompted an invitation from Braun to undertake an internship in the company’s design department.
He graduated in 2005 and initially worked at the Milan-based design studio Syneo for companies such as Motorola, LG and Whirpool, as well as the eyewear manufacturers Persol and Rayban. In 2007 Stegmann returned to Braun, now employed on a permanent basis, initially working for the Oral-B brand.
Since the appointment of Oliver Grabes as the new head of product design at Braun, Stegmann has been significantly involved in the development of a new design language and the realignment of Braun’s product design, with the aim to forge links between the past and the future. Since 2012, as design director for the dry shaver, hair care and healthcare divisions he has also been responsible for the development of new product concepts. Stegmann is active as an external study supervisor at various design colleges and has on several occasions sat on the jury for the German Design Council’s German Design Award.
Emilia Terragni
Associate Publisher at Phaidon Press, London
Emilia Terragni studied art history at the University Ca' Foscari in Venice, and did a Master in Siena on the relationship between Art and Architecture in the 1930’. Always working between art, architecture and design she joined the Luis Barragan Foundation at the Vitra Design Museum, where she worked as a curator of the Archives of the Mexican architect.
In 2001 she joined Phaidon Press - the world’s premier publisher of books on the visual arts, as a design project editor and she is now Associate Publisher for Architecture, Design and Food titles.
At Phaidon, she founded the design list and then went on to create and develop the culinary list, publishing books that combine lifestyle, food, and hospitality, while being beautiful objects in their own right.
Her passion for design has manifested itself in the many publications she has created at Phaidon, such as: 1,000 Design Classics, Ettore Sottsass, Designed for Life, Herman Miller: A Way of Living and Nike: Better is Temporary.
She also collaborates with many design companies and institutions, giving lectures and developing content, to bring the concept of design, as a tool for social changes, to a wider audience, and to promote Italian design in the world.

Design can also be an incredible agent of change through planning, simplification, analysis, visualisation, communication, lateral thinking, and last but not least beauty.

Stefan Ytterborn
Serial Entrepreneur, Founder, and Leader
Stefan Ytterborn is a seasoned serial entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in business development, product design, branding, and communication. His career has been dedicated to bringing global brands to life, overseeing the ideation, development, and launch of more than 3,000 products across various industries. Ytterborn's journey began with the co-founding of ComTru, a design and brand agency that set the stage for his future endeavors.
He later co-founded Ytterborn & Fuentes, another successful design and branding agency, where he worked with prominent global clients including iittala, IKEA, SAAB, and Absolut. As the founder of POC, a leading brand in helmets and armor, Ytterborn revolutionized safety equipment for sports enthusiasts. His innovative spirit continued with the founding of CAKE, an electric motorcycle company that has quickly gained a reputation for its sustainable and stylish designs.
Throughout his career, Stefan Ytterborn has demonstrated a unique ability to turn visionary ideas into successful global brands, making a lasting impact on the industries he touches. His leadership and creative expertise continue to drive innovation and set new standards in design and branding.
